Who is Matthew Weiss?

Matthew Weiss, a former assistant football coach at the University of Michigan, was hired in 2020 and coached for three seasons (2021, 2022, and 2023) before being placed on leave in January 2023. On January 20, 2023, he was fired. Recently, Weiss was indicted on two dozen federal charges related to hacking into thousands of athlete and alumni accounts. He is accused of unlawfully accessing personal information, including intimate photos and medical data, from over 3,300 individuals, primarily targeting female college athletes.
